Action Electric was the primary Electrical Contractor for the Symcor Vancouver Relocation Project. We had the responsibility of coordinating with two other major subcontractors to ensure the successful completion of the project to the Client’s standards. Action provided rough-in conduit work and cable tray installation for Paladin to install data and telephone wiring, and Chubb to install the wiring for intrusion and access controls.
Additionally, Action Electric installed main 600V service and distribution panels, power wiring for local area receptacles, connected production line equipment, pack poles and pin and sleeve outlets. Our scope also included generator installation, complete with automatic transfer switch and manual transfer switch for portable back up generator, UPS for main LAN room and associated wiring, wiring and connection of mechanical loads, lighting and lighting controls, exits, emergency lighting and power packs, Fire Alarm CPU and associated initiating and annunciation components including pull stations, bells, and the sprinkler system.
